ORIGINAL KING'S CROWN GOBLET
- 1880's, American

REPRODUCTION KING'S CROWN GOBLET
- 1950's to 1970's, by L.G. Wright, Indiana Glass Co. and several others

  • Reproduction goblets are much heavier and thicker.
  • On most reproduction stems, the appearance of the glass is wavy and not as crisply moulded as the originals.
  • Often reproductions in this pattern are yellow or green toned, which is not characteristic of the clear brilliance of this pattern.
  • All coloured goblets in this pattern are reproductions. Original goblets were produced only in clear, sometimes with gold decoration and also ruby stained. Reproduction ruby stained pieces tend to be much lighter in colour, more a pinkish color than the dark ruby of the originals.
